At the Bali Trick Art Gallery you can step into one of the museums 3D paintings and get your photo taken.  With more than 80 paintings, there are plenty to choose from. You can pose with a dinosaur, or on the back of a horse. You can even get a family portrait taken on a broken suspension bridge, or within an ancient Egyptian tomb.

No matter if you are new to surfing or you are an experienced surfer, the beaches around Seminyak offer great opportunities. Beginners will find suitable waves at Kuta and Legian beach, while expert surfers can take on the more challenging breaks at the beaches north of Seminyak.
Boards can be rented almost everywhere, and several surf schools around Seminyak will teach you to master waves.

4. Feel blessed at the Pura Petitenget Temple

Pura Petitenget might not be as impressive as some of Bali’s better known temples, but with its central location at the beach right off Jalan Petitenget, it is reachable by foot from most locations in Seminyak.

Along the beach, several elegant beach clubs attracts the glitterati of Seminyak.  You shouldn’t deny yourself a visit to at least one of them whether it will be for a lazy breakfast, to lounge by the pool during the day, to watch the sun sets into the Indian Ocean, an evening cocktail, or to dine in one of the beach Club restaurants, which are among some of Seminyak’s best.

7. Hit the greens

Within a 30 minutes drive from Seminyak you’ll find three world-class gold courses. The Greg Norman designed Nirwana near Tanah Lot, The New Kuta Golf Course, and Bali National Golf course on the Bukit Peninsula. All three courses have qualities that make them unique. The Nirwana features terraced rice paddies and a signature hole right next to Bali’s iconic Tanah Lot temple. New Kuta is a links style course with a spectacular ocean view from the steep cliffs of the Bukit. Bali National Golf Course takes you through coconut groves and is played with the Mount Agung volcano in the distant horizon.

If you are in Seminyak with children, or you feel like bringing out your inner child, Waterbom Water Park in Kuta is a great place to spend a day. The Race track and Climax are recommended for the thrill seekers, while the less adventurous will enjoy a ride down Lazy River.

9. Join the party crowds at Seminyak’s clubs

Kuta might still be the home of Bali’s craziest nightlife, but if you want to party in style Seminyak is the only place to be. Friday and Saturday night are the liveliest any time of the year, but in the peak seasons you can dance on the beach or sip cocktails until late any night of the week.

10. Go Wild in Bali Safari and Marine Park

Another one for the kids is the Bali Safari and Marine Park where a safari tram drives you through open areas with zebras, hippos, rhinos, and tigers. The park also has a fresh water aquarium and hosts different animal shows and a fun zone with different joy rides.
The Park is located south of Gianyar, a 45 minute drive from Seminyak.
